Greetings all,
I have some old color photo scans I did on the Epson photo scanner, using their scanner software, with auto tone on.
When I look at them now, after years of photo editing experience, they look too intense to me. Contrast and colors are too intense. I tried simply lessening the contrast in Camera Raw, and playing with the shadow, brightness, black, white controls, but that doesn't look quite natural either. Are there special tips to reversing the auto-tone to make photos look like they were just scanned raw?
Many thanks.
