Retouching a digital photo of mine

This might sound kinda strange..but I would like to retouch this digital photo. The reason is: I'm doing my house over in sage colored vinyl siding w/ white windows, white trim and Hunter green entry door/ side lite. The entire tudor effect will be gone...no cross trim, the vinyl will be clap board and scallups(on the peak), not shingles like you see now. How would I go about doing this and making it look realistic so I can get an idea of how my house will look when all is said and done??? the sage color is R=199, G=203, B=195

Hi Susie,

Welcome to the forums!

The big question becomes, how good are your skills at selecting different areas? Once you have the specific areas selected you could possibly create a pattern which looked like your siding and then apply it in the Layer Styles dialog with a color blend mode.

If you have a bigger version of your image and can host it somewhere so we could download it, perhaps this could be sort of a challenge. A bit of experimentation might well be the ticket and the results could help you create a strategy for doing your own version.

Oh, what version of PS are you using?
