This is an image of my niece Eva before the masking:

How can I correct the right shoe gap?

When you said gap I'll assume you meant the black area of the soul for the shoe I used the marquee tool created the shape of the sole moved it over to the sole of the shoe showing, duplicated and manipulated into position
took a couple of minutes but if you take a little longer you would get a better result
