Retaining EXIF

I use a Lumix G5 Panasonic four thirds micro camera and take pictures using RAW. I have been trying to show my work on the Lumix Gallery after using CS5 to make adjustments and changes to the actual shot. Every time I try to upload a shot I am told the picture was not taken by a Lumix camera and the reason for this is because the EXIF is missing. Can anyone please tell me how I can use CS5 without it removing the EXIF. I have checked all the shots and there is nothing to show the camera model, aperture, speed etc, etc. Is there something in CS5 I need to do to rectify the problem please?? Regards, Ron Bin

in ps go to file > file info

you will see a tab for camera info at the bottom of that tab it will have an import box with the option to import from camera.

I was using save for web & devices but have changed over to save as and it all seems to be working very well thank you very much. I struggled for ages trying to sort the problem out so your advice was first class and very gratefully received. Best wishes, RonBin

Yes, I suspected that was the case. It's a common problem. Glad to have helped.

However, don't forget that even within "Save for web and devices", you have choices about what metadata to write into your file. See attached.
