Hello everybody
I made this logo for a restaurant i imagined it's name...Please I wanna know your opinions and suggestions about it.

try to lose the stroke on the text and try to make it blend with the hat ..for more realistic view

The idea and elements are there. You just need to tweak the art.

Maybe use a chef's hat photo as a model. Try to make the steam coming from the steak whiter.

Thank you for your advices...I modified it...i made the smoke lighter, and i removed the border around text... plus i got another advices to remove the black stroke and the tan background...i think it's look better, waiting for the next advices 8)....
BTW i made this logo to add it in my portfolio on a website...do u think that it's good idea ??

I like the second better but it does not excite me.

I like the second one better, but feel like it still needs more work. The hat is nice, but a little bit too light, maybe go just a shade or two darker. Also, with your meat, it’s hard to identify what kind it is. Are the lines on it supposed to be char marks? They don’t seem right light; they should be darker than the meat. The steam is nice, but you can’t see it against the background, so maybe outline them like the hat. Speaking of the steam and hat, if you could find a design that makes some of the steam kind of flowing up to form the hat I think it would work nicely.

The second one looks much better but I think the shape of the chef's hat could be altered to look a bit more stylish and not so symmetrical and tall. The name "Viande" has a French/Italian feel to it and those cultures are known for style and flair so I feel like the hat should reflect this.
