hey guys
I trying to add subject from different pictures into one picture (as shown in the picture attached)
the problem that I have is: when I drag one subject to another picture, the subject come bigger than the subject in the new picture.
how can I resize the subject picture so it would have the same height as the other subject (as shown in the picture attached)
thank you so much for all your help

When you paste or open new images into an existing Photoshop file, they will usually be placed on different layers. This makes it extremely easy to resize them.

Here's what I would suggest you do:

a) pull out two horizontal guides. Adjust the first guide so it is just touching the feet of your smallest subject, and adjust the 2nd guide so it is just touching the head of the smallest subject.

b) Click on one of the other layers.

c) Activate the "Move" tool. The shortcut is "V". Hold down the "shift" key (to preserve proportions), and then drag one of the lower corner handles on the move tool to make the feet of the subject in that layer line up with your lower guide.

d) Then, while continuing to hold down the shift key, drag one of the upper corner handles to make the top of the head of the subject in that layer line up with your upper guide. Moving an upper handle will likely slightly change the vertical position of the feet, so you may have to go back and forth between the two a couple of times to get both feet and head precisely lined up.

e) repeat (b) through (d) for all the other layers.

Done!

HTH,

Tom

PS - If one of your subjects is on the very bottom layer of the layer stack, duplicate that layer so that it can be resized.

Glad to hear it. Any chance you could be enticed into showing off the result?

PS - Note the "thanks" button at the extreme lower LH corner of each post. ;-)
