Hi

I'm sure this is a proper newbies question, but please bear with me....i am a photshop newb.

I have an image that i wish to crop 800 x 533 for my daughters website. I cant and dont want to change the crop size as the rest of my images are 800 x 533 (or 533 x 800) and i want to keep everything uniform.

This particular image when i crop it i lose part of the image that i really wish to keep.

Is there a function in photoshop that will allow me to reduce the image size so that i can get more in my 800 x 533 crop ?

I have tried 'resize image' but this didn't seem to work.

Thanks for any help

M.

The only way I know how to do this is to, open a new photoshop work space, then put the setting's to the size you want them to be, after this is done open up you image if you don't have it open already.

Once you have done this, move the image that you want to re size on to the blank document and resize it to that size.

EDIT:

I have just done a quick google search and found this
