Hi all I remember that there is a way if you have 2 images open in Photoshop to resize one of them to the exact dimensions of the other one. If I remember rightly it involved selecting one of the images and then selecting that image as the size of the other one. Clearly it isn't exactly that because I cant do it!

Can anybody remind how to do it.

BTW I know that I could just make a note of the relevant numbers and type them in - its just that I know that there is a way to do it automatically.

Cheers

OK, are you bringing the two images into a document that is greater in size than the largest image? Or are they in separate documents?

They are 2 separate documents IE on separate tabs. The method I used before (and it was a couple of years and a few million dead brain cells ago!) was something like select the first document, select resize and it then allowed you to select the other window (or document) as a reference. I just cant remember exactly how to do it. I am with some students at the moment and went to show them and I just couldn't remember - always when someone is watching :D

Yeah, I think I know what your talking about. Let me see if I can remember...............I have to experiment LOL!!

Yippiiee - I just remembered how to do it :starstruck:

Have the 2 documents on their own tabs.
Select the picture you want to resize
Select Image / Image size
While the dialogue box is still open select Window / "the name of the other document"

Hey presto the image size is set to the dimensions of the other document.

I am glad I remembered - I thought I was loosing what was left of my mind :)

Cheers

Thank you! I was driving myself crazy trying to remember and figure that out!
