Resampling and transformation

Hi,

What happens to the image when I transform (Ctrl +T) the image regarding to its re-sampling interpolation aspects? By transform I mean make it bigger or smaller.

no matter u resample to small or bigger but reality is the image lose it's original pixels so the output wont look like as same as the original one. just try transforming bigger pic to smaller and then apply and again re-transform that smaller to it's orginal size and u'll see the difference , how the pixels have been lost when u transformed . so better way to preserve the pixel of image in transforming is "smart object". try converting ur image it smart object and u resample to anysize or revert back to orginal after lot transforamtion, u'll get the pixel preserverd.
