hello people. I come to you with a help request.
I am trying to change the colour of part of an image from a brownish to more of a white colour. and another part of it to a redish. I have hunted for some tutorials on this but what comes up is something along the lines of colourisinf black and white photo's
Specifically this is the image I'm looking to change
(apparently I can't post links, so code will have to do e.e)
I wanted to make the main body of the horse look like it was a white coat and the "glow" effects red. I've tried colour changing with white but that results in a greyscale type effect.
Any help with this would rock. I'm using CS5 and have been nosing around tutorials for it for a week or so. I can change one colour to another normally fine with hue editing, but when it comes to white, it just turns out charcoal grey as if it was put in to greyscale.
If anyone could walk me through the appropriate steps (maybe with a practical demonstration) I would be eternally grateful.
