New blank layer, picked your colours painted in on two layers added cartoon mesh lowered opacity,with a blue screen layer over the top and lowered opacity too on that.

Nice Paul. Did you mask out the hair to get the gradient on to that area?

No mate just a soft brush blended against each of the colours for speed.
