[REQUEST] Logo for PC gaming store - Artistically retarded, please help me :)

Hey guys, basically i'm opening a PC gaming/component distributor store called Solutionz. (Yes, with a Z because we're cool like that). We've tried to establish some sort of a logo but we're all fairly disappointed with what we can come up with. Let's just say our creativity is slightly lacking, we've got the general idea for what we're going for but it's really lacking some emphasis.

If any of the talented people on this forum have any spare time on their hands to modify the following image (or scrap it entirely) it would be very much appreciated :). We're aiming for something modern and cool, so try to bear that in mind :D

Is there any chance I could get some sort of 'SZ' logo as well? I know it's hard when i'm giving so little to work with but feel free to be creative on it. I figured SZ would probably give the coolest logo potential lol, mix it up a bit if you want, nothing is set in stone yet.

As far as the business itself goes we've just organised the building lease so we'll be setting up in there in maybe 2 weeks, getting to the point where we're going to need some signage made up :)

The amount of input is overwhelming, thanks a lot everyone :)

So basically what's happened is we've agreed on a black and green theme for the store, something like the 2 colors posted in the first reply but with the green preferably standing out a little more.

As for the size of the canvas - I'm really not too sure. We were planning on basically using the selected design to get a sign made up for the front of the store. Like, a big ass one. I've never really used any editing programs to design something that will be printed and used on such a large surface so I don't know exactly what size canvas you need or how it will affect it :/.

Now as for the motto...We were discussing it and well, our name doesn't really stand out as a pc gaming store, so we're trying to incorporate what we do into the motto. So something like "Solutionz - for all your pc gaming needs" I know that sounds dodgy too, just something to work with. Any suggestions on a motto too would be great lol :D
 
I actually really like what you were going for iNoob, if you're feeling up for it would you care to have a crack at something similar but suiting the black/bright green sort of theme + I can practically see an SZ logo in yours ready to go :D

And as for vectors, I don't quite understand them completely but if it allows me to resize the image freely it sounds like just what I need lol :)
