Hi There,

I am trying to work out how to do the following on cushions/pillows for example.

I have a photo of a red silk pillow that I want to replace the material with various other types of materials in my sample pack I have from the supplier.

What is the best way to make them look realistic? I have photographed all the samples but now need to add the sample material / colours to the cushions.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

I want to be able to allow people to choose the lamp and pillow in the same fabric if they like and I want to display them but have no idea on how to add the fabrics. All the harder fabrics look easier but all the samples of silk colours I see online look impossible to try and add to the two products.

Any suggestions on how I can add the following fabric samples to both - not sure how to do this with all the shadows etc to make them look realistic and not crappy

Hi, something like this? I used two differents blend modes as example so you can see.

you need to use the blend modes to combine the two pictures. Then adjust some saturation or brightness if need it.

Cheers!

If you use a Photoshop MOCKUP document, you can drag in your fabrics and have them conform to the shape of the lamp and cushion.
Here's an example of one I just put together. If you want the PSD file, I will place it on my website for you to download and play with.
Document blank.

Here's one with one of your supplied fabrics.

With the MOCKUP, you can change the colors of the floor and walls to help balance the overall appearance.
Cheers.
