I am trying to get one image onto a new canvas 6 times, ie when I get a 5x7 print it will have 6 little pics, like passport pictures. How do I do this?

Apparently you can tile images or create a pattern and then paintbucket the blank canvas with it, or even create a custom paint and use the brush to fill in the canvas.

I tried the pattern generator, and it gave me crazy random patterns with little fragments of my source picture all over the place.

Can anyone help me...it's to make my 2008 christmas cards so the clock is ticking.

Thank you so much

not sure what u mean but ill wing it, ok 6 is a great number because there is a easy way,
go to the custom shapes tool and pick the shape set "Tiles", and Shape GRID
hen create it w/e then free transform it to the corners
Then turn on the ruler, then click and drag on the ruler and line them up with the Gird
The bring the photos into the document and reduce their size to fit in the guides
