This is my first post here and hoping I can learn a thing or two about AE here. So my issue is I created an intro using a background, text, camera and a light. My composition looks exactly how I want it. When the image floats the light casts a shadow of the text on the background as I wanted it to but the problem starts when I try to render it. After I render it the shadows of the text become not so shadowed. It looks like a duplicate text under the main text. During my ram preview it's fine. Not sure whats going on here. I'm sure one of you guru's will know exactly where I'm going wrong.

Thanks a lot folks.

Do you render the Video Uncompressed?
You should try to reconvert the video after u render it to see what happnes...

I render it as an uncompressed avi file. When I save the ram preview it will show the soft drop shadows of the text against the background, but when I render it the drop shadows appear to be solid letters. Such a stupid little thing with probably and easy resolution.
