Illustrator Removing object from white background in .eps vector image

Hello, I purchased five images from istockphotos, and I thought they might include .ai files so I could have the object on a transparent background. No such luck. They are all .eps vectors on whitish background. (Hope I explained that correctly.)

Can anyone offer an idea how to cut the object from the background and paste it onto transparent background so I can use as an icon on my website?
Or, better yet, I can pay someone for a small sum for their work.

I'm not certain what objects you want to remove from the background. Perhaps you can explain in more detail exactly what you are after and the end use. I will PM you with my email.
