removing lines and bleed through on writing paper?

seem to be having another senior moment ;-( used to do this all the time, but haven't done anything like it for years...

there's also some that are simply b&w, with the same problem.

this is for a friends daughters 50th birthday, and though i think they have more 'character' as they are, they're looking for clean copy to print in a book.

Blend-If can work here.
  • Fill a new layer with white above your text image.
  • Open the Layer Styles panel and go to the Blend-If sliders. Experiment with settings, similar to what's shown below.
  • After I did the best I could, the remaining text was still a little faint. I then copied the entire image to a new layer and changed the blend mode to Multiply, which darkened the text nicely.

thanks, rich54, that's terrific. though i can't remember what i used to do it certainly wasn't blend, and your results are better than i remember ever getting.
