Hi guys,
Just wondering if someone could help me on this.Would really appreciate it.
Basically when I was using the healing brush tool to lighten blemishes it has left a little "smudge" around my right ear.I cant seem to get rid of this and have deleted the original image.
Any help would be great!
Thanks!

Hi there,
Thanks for your reply. Iv just tried to upload it there and "invalid file" keeps coming up whenever I choose it.Any suggestions to resolve this?
Thanks

Anthony, just take a screen shot of just the ear and try to upload that. We just need to see the the "little smudge" your referring to.

Looks pretty good to me. I cant see the smudge. Since you have the original, you zoom in on the smudge and take a screen shot.

Is it the right ear of the person in the photo (our left) or the right side ear from the viewers perspective (our right)?

There is no way to repair that smudge other than taking a section of the other ear placing over the damaged one but we have no idea if it will match what you really look like

Hi,Sorry i should have specified it is the right of the person in the photo. It appears like a "little white ball" at the lower end of the ear

Anthony, based on what I cans see, zoom in real close and try the Clone Stamp Tool. Sample often.

Sorry iPop, did not see your post!

You could also try an ear swap with a layer mask like iDad's suggestion.

I thought it was the upper part of ear.... No biggie Sam,I kind of just jumped in.

Thanks for the replies. Just done a little reading about the clone stamp tool. May i ask which area of the image would be best to take the sample from?Is it a matter of trying to blend it in with the rest of the ear?
Thanks!

I would sample as close to the area you want to affect as possible.
