remove the background

can someone remove this background and place the chair on just a white background?



i've had a go but can't get it right without losing bits of the chair at the sides and making it blurry/rough

After reading your comment I cut the chair out using a pen tool .
But could not retain the tag .
This is my attempt
Please give your suggestions.

I just made a selection of the main part of the chair and copied that to a new layer, turned off the main image, then made another selection on the copied layer with the Pen Tool and right clicked select Make Selection and then just hit the delete key

If you duplicate the original (turn original off) and use a layer mask, select the mask by clicking, you then make the selections with the Pen Tool......



.....then fill with black.





You can make additional selections with the Pen Tool to add to the layer mask and fill them with black as well.
All the tool paths are saved under Paths and can be individually selected and edited.
