Okk.. so here i go! I got a picture taken of miss thailand and myself yesterday. But im not so happy with it:) I regret that i didnt find a box to stand on so i would get higher than her:banghead:
But i guess we cant do anything with that..:) So.. im really here to ask if it is possible to remove the ugly shadows in our face? I can see a very clear shadow line and shadows that i dont want in there. If it is possible can someone please tell me how to do it?:) Or maybe be soo nice and kind to do it for me?
The picture was taken with an iphone 3g so its not the best quality and i think it is hard to work with:)But if anyone can do it I would be so happy! Not often i get to take a picture with a miss and this is the only picture i got:)
I use cs4
Thanks:)

If you could post the picture it would get seen and make it easier to suggest ways to do it
Welcome to PsG

Ohh i thought i had posted it:) I think I just attached it or something becouse it was not possible to post a link without sending 5 or 8 posts?

I don't think any amount of photoshop would turn out what _I_ would deem a good photo in this case. The lighting is just wayyy too harsh.

It's going to be difficult to get a good looking result with this photo, but you could try playing with some curves adjustment layers to help soften the harsh lighting.

For the shadows make a curves layer and adjust it to be very bright.. then invert the mask on the adjustment layer by pressing Ctrl+i then take a soft brush and pain in white with something less than 100% opacity (maybe 60%), on the mask to reveal areas you want to remove shadows from.

Do the same with a dark curves adjustment layer to soften the very bright parts of the photo.

In Photoshop open your Image file
Image > adjustment > shadows / Highlight drag SHADOW SLIDER TOWARDS RIGHT to 58 %
HIGHLIGHT SLIDER drag it right 12 %
there is lot of noise... this could be due to photo taken with iphone

You use a lot of smileys... also, the result image does work, and its a good method. But to retain some of the original image's light qualities for the rest of the image, you should layer the new image above the original and set the blend mode to Lighten. It'll reintroduce some light features in the original image whilst still keeping the shadow out of your faces.

Can somebody here help How to REPLACE Image in #7, as this is wrong Image uploaded...

I want to replace it

ashwin - edit the post, go to advanced mode and click on Manage Attachments, there you can edit the image.

That is what I tried to do, and I have already uploaded correct image, but I fail to replace the wrong image with correct newly uploaded Image..

Ok I removed the attachment that was there, try uploading the correct one now.
