Specific Remove Plant From Image

Hi there,

I just need the plant in front of the hands removed. I know Photoshop decently well, but retouching the hands after removing the plant proved a little difficult. I thought I'd post the original and see if anyone could help out. Any help is appreciated!

Wow, this is great! When I first attempted it, I was having trouble fixing the spaces between the fingers, but it looks like you took care of it. I really appreciate it!

This photo seems very desaturated to me, especially the skin tones. I took IamSam's edit and adjusted the contrast and saturation.

I got shcooled on the last one by @IamSam. So decided to go back, start with the original shot and put some time into it. I used Sam's work as a model to give me some art direction.
Some of what I did is a bit different but I tried to reach the same composition and finish.
Also taking a cue from @Rich54, did a curves adjustment to bring a bit more depth to the shot.
This one couldn't be rushed which was my first mistake. Took a lot of patience.
