Hey all!
I'm having a hard time removing images from their backgrounds without making them having pixelated and messy borders. Could you please help me separate them from their background? I would appreciate it so much!!

Clock Image: to have just the clock without the buildings in the background (so it'll have a transparent white background)

Stroopwafel Image: To have the Stroopwaffel (the brown circle waffle) remove from the background and the baby to be separated from the background as well (so both of them will also have no white background and will have a transparent background)

This is the best I could do with extraction in the time I could allocate it. I used Alpha Mask to get the child and a Elliptical Marquee tool + manual masking to extract the cookie.
This is fit only for a light/white background unless shading is done on the edges.

You are amazing!! Thank you so much!! although i was wondering, when using the mask, how were you able to accurately get the small details like the strands for hair?

This video is a wonderful resource that explains how to use Alpha Channel for difficult selections. I think I used the Blue channel as it showed highest amount of contrast.
