i was wondering if anyone knows of an action to repair green eye

i might do my own but was wondering if there are too many variations of green eye for one action to handle

Green? Depends on the image probably but I wonder if the burn tool would work.

as RT said, but probably many ways, what's this green eye ?

green eye is like red eye but in animals , ill easily work out how to get rid of it but im looking for an actions commands to make it simple

actions for teeth whitening ,red eye removal , contrast and color boost and framing just to name a few save a lot of time

heres the picture but as i said i dont need it done just the action , strange i couldnt find one online

IMHO, using an action isn't the right way to go about this because there are too many variables.

Instead, if you are going to do a lot of this type of work, I would suggest you make a folder containing a variety of high rez dog eyes. Fade the edges of all of them to fully transparent, then you just paste the closest match into your image, resize it as needed, tweak the perspective (if necessary), and finally tweak the contrast and brightness to match the rest of the image, eg. ...

Odd as it might seem, an even better way is to simply shot it correctly, ie, avoid on-camera flash.

Ah... I thought you were looking for an action because you had a large number of similar shots to process. That led me to suspect that you were processing your own shots.

I understand the why in red eye...light bouncing back from the retina...My dogs eyes capture in different colors (golden)...Why the diff ?

i think you might be able to make an action and have an option for hue color change , if not no probs just wanted to see if it can be done , be a good one to learn recording actions , ill give it a go next week when i get home

Hey, Ego - give it a shot! The main reason I didn't pursue that approach was because in many pix with glowing eyes, you can change the hue all you want, but the fundamental problem is that the pupil is too bright and featureless, whereas it should be darker than the iris (and surroundings) and there needs to be some luminosity variation in the pupil (eg, catchlights). The problem is made worse because that incredible brightness often spills over into the surroundings of the eye, making it a further PITA to get the right luminosity and color relationships in that area. That's why I opted to take the mindless approach and just drop in a replacement eye.

However, that being said, if you do come up with a good action or brush, I'll be the 1st one in line to request a copy.

Cheers,

T
