refresh colors

hello, this is a mobile photo I took of a picture in a book. I'd like to refresh it's colors. how can I do it in PS? image tracing in illustrator or faster in ps ?

Since it is rasterized, I would used Photoshop, turn it into a Smart Object and use the Camera Raw filter.

Adjustments executed in Photoshop.
I made a selection with the pen tool of the teeth, the 'pink gum', and the 'yellow hut', and put them on a new layer.
Each of these forms (including the background) I treated separately with 2 px gaussian blur.
I also desaturated the background a little.
