Red + White Star Thing in middle of image?

Can anyone help me out, I', om CS4 and a red+white star has apperaed in the middle of my image and won't go. Does anyone know why this happens and how to get rid of it? many thanks Nick

That's the rotate view tool, located under the hand tool.

But that tool should not show up on the image once it's saved?

It looks like it was purposely put there, like a watermark

That tool only shows itself when you're clicking your mouse once you let it go, it disappears

It's not that I do not trust his words it's that I did not understand his words.

I read somewhere about problems on laptops and touchpads. I think there is a workaround for it. Google it...
