Red Lens Effect

How Can I create the same "Red Lens" effect of the left photo to the plain beach photo on the right?

Could you please help?

Just add a red gradient layer using a foreground to transparent gradient setting.

I also added a layer mask to the gradient to tone down the red in the lower left corner.

FWIW, the proper name for this effect is not the "red lens effect". Instead, just Google {light leak effect photoshop}.
