A desktop type bit and a poster, I am usually a web designer but I want to and I stating to widen my horizions so let me know what you think!

Hey Matt, great work!

Not as fond of the first as I am the second. The first is alright, maybe a little dark but I like the Out of Bounds effect. You might try lightening the entire image and adding a shadow under his arm to sell the OOB a bit better.

The second is just great the way it is!

Keep it up!
 
I really like the poster; very clean, very classy. The first one is well . . . gruesomely humorous, lol. I agree about the under the arm shadow to enhance the OOB. I also think there's a flatness that makes the whole image too grey. Maybe there is too much tonal similarity between him and that of the BG or would you call that FG.

Yeah thanks guys and I have to agree with you about the joker bit of work it does need quite a bit ajusting now I look at it, but it was an effort of forms, thanks. I'll keep it all in mind for future pieces I do that may be similar!
