Really LARGE Letters Getting Pixelated

Hello all,

First post here WOOT!

ok so Im using cs5.5 and need to print something 4' x 8'. Its mostly letters as well, but the problem is that the letters get really pixelated when I make them really big.

How can I avoid / fix this issue?

Increase your resolution of the document.

In your preferences change your type to pixel base not point size this gives a lot cleaner results on text. However please note size 1 pixel is not the same as size 1 point size it is dramatically smaller.

Maybe look at using illustrator to make it vector based rather than pixel base.
