Rasterizing layer style problem

Not sure what's going on lately but last couple of times I've tried this it's been giving me problems.
Working on renderings with quite a few layers, I tried to click on the layer palette to rasterize a layer style, it's not coming up on the drop-down menu unless I hit exactly right within the right side (fx) icon area of that layer. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a keyboard command to resterize layer style, this finding the right area is getting to be a pain in the butt:mrgreen::banghead:

Hey iPops,

I can right click anywhere within the red area and get a dropdown menu that includes the "Rasterize Layer Style" option.

Sam, used to do that also but now I have to put my cursor right underneath the FX in an exact spot every time I don't know why. Very weird

That's strange.................don't get me to lyin'!

I have no idea of what to tell you on this one! I did not find a keyboard shortcut for rasterizing a layer style either.

I wonder if that is something that could be created, I really don't want to reset my preferences that is such a pain in the butt

YES!

Go to
EDIT > KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS > Under "shortcuts for:" choose Application Menus.
Scroll down to RASTERIZE > LAYER STYLE > CLICK > set the Keys!

Here is a good TUTORIAL on the subject.
