Ooh, great tip, Gauss, thanks! I'm a kb shortcut fan, so I'll definitely use this one

B7 G-Man! 'Tis, by far, the best and most useful shortcut that this girl has ever seen ;) ... and will use!!!!!

[confused] In fact, I used to ask myself this question all the time... there's gotta be a better way...

I have an Action that uses this combo. Will also paste it into a new doc if I tell it to. Something like this:

ctrl + a
ctrl + shift + c
ctrl + n
enter to accept New Doc parameters
ctrl + v
ctrl + e
File > Save for Web

Can easily turn things on/off as needed. For example, if I only want a chunk, then turn off the first step, make a selection, then run that bad boy. Or, if I don't want to Save for Web, just turn that step off. Even change Modality as needed. For example, if I want some transparency, turn on Modility for ctrl + n and make sure I have the background set to Transparent. Tons of uses. Very handy.

Combos are great. Toss them into an Action, add some things that you might need, then tweak as needed per use.

I have to say that I LOVE when you guys make tutorials you do the keyboard shortcuts KEEP THAT UP... I been remembering a few saves a ton of time

You forget

ctrl+shift+n (new layer) ;)

shift+ctrl+alt+n
shift+ctrl+alt+e

That makes it 11 keystrokes and I used 7.

I win AW :P :D

Aaaaah... you're just finding out, Splash, that G-man (gaussian) be the man around here! B7
