Hey! So basically i am having bizarre quick mask issues. When i make my selection the red mask instead of appearing within the selection i have made appears outside the selection i have made. At first this wasnt a big problem with me because i just figured that i would fix the selection with the black/white brushes, but even the brushes themselves are not working.
I am fairly a newbie to photoshop, so i wasnt too sure if i resetted the settings, or if perhaps im just not doing the proper procedure.
But basically, make your selection, press the quick mask filter and then adjust accordingly right?

All the settings are correct, brush opacity is set at 100 and quick mask is at 50% but just to help further I have attached a photo below to show what im talking about with the small box being the selection that i made. Granted, i know the picture, is pretty crappy haha especially the house, but im trying to make it appear more realistic by blurring out the cardboard lines, and then reworking the windows with the paint and pen tool.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!
