QUICK HELP GUYS!!

i got a Canon Rebel XT and i take photos in teh RAW formate, theni send it to my pc etc.. i uncode the raw into jpg and when i open in photoshop cs2 the imagens looks like its kinda yellow!! then i open the original jpg, and the colors is diferent like the way i want it to be, if i edit the pic in photoshop, on photoshop it looks 1 way and when i look at it saved on desktop, it looks diferent!! any one know wut im talking about??

Howdy. :)

Sounds like there's some confusion between PS and the colour data in the source file. Photoshop may not be setup correctly to handle the data from your image. Either that, or there's a problem with your RAW data.

You should consider setting up a colour profile inh PS.
Because this can be a lengthy subject, i have to refer you to the PS HELP! files to understand how to set that up. It's fairly well documented so i wouldn't expect you'll have any real problem understanding the instructions.

I'm also not an 'expert' in this area, so hopefully someone who is can chime in here and offer othert suggestions.

Let us know if you still have a problem after doing this.

If it were just white balance, it would appear the same amount "off" in every app.

The problem is, as theFounder mentioned, you probably don't have Photoshop setup correctly. Make sure you have a calibrated monitor and make sure that you are using color profiles in Photoshop.
