Question regarding printing quality

Hi everybody,

I am planning to get some pictures of landscapes etc printed and wanted to ask in which quality or size I should deliver them.

If I want a picture printed 50 x 30cm, should I also deliver the file in exactly this size? Or should I rather deliver a bigger file in the same ratio to make sure the quality is high enough for the print?

Or will the quality and result be the best it the file is printed exactly in the dimension of the original file, I will need the the print to be 50 x 30cm.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Tom

if you can, make it exactly the size for printing, if a little bigger, reduction can cause just as much pixellation as enlargement.

exact size, 300dpi,
tell them to leave bleed of at least 50mm on each side if you want to frame it.
