Question - How to make 1950's Ad

Hello all. I have a question and I hope this is the right place to ask it. I am looking to make a picture into what looks like an advertisement from the 1950's. I don't know what you call the style or even if it's something that can be easily done in photoshop, but this is an example of what I'm talking about. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
