question about images on Ebay

I'm using my photoshop for editing my pictures.
the only thing is: when I use them on Ebay, they seem more compressed then before. can somebody explain that?

it seems like not only the compression has changed, but even brightness and contrast...

please check an Ebay-listing for example:
http://cgi1.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MakeTrack&item=5605351648

if any person might have an idea: please let me know!!!
thanks in advance![/url]

I imagine they do compress them a bit as they host so many pictures.

You can fiddle with the colour, contrast whatever when you select the image as you upload the listing. (in the pictures and details section) have a play with that and it might fix it a bit.

There is no E-bay "tweek" in Photoshop that I am aware of, so I don't think you are doing anything wrong if you are following E-bay's requirements for photos.

It must be E-bay servers that are compressing your work, its not unheard of. Best way to find out, is to download one of your pic off ebay and compare with your original.

I'm curious about your results, post your findings here if there is a difference.
