Question about how photoshop auto align is written

Does anyone know or know where i can find the manner in which photoshop auto align is done. im curious if it is done through harris corners, sift features etc.

that I believe is within the application itself and Adobe locks out info like that without a hack.........just guessing though

it most certainly is something in photoshop itself which i cannot see. that doesnt mean someone doesnt know.

im not looking for any sort of backdoor use of the function. i just want to know the technique for a write up im doing. is there an easy way to contact adobe.com i got to this site through adobe.com
