Question about Adobe Bridge

Hello people,

I am pretty new at Photoshop and when I did install Photoshop CS4 I seen that I can't exclude Adobe Bridge from it's installation.

So in the end, I went with it and installed it. From what I see, it's just simple picture browser - nothing more, nothing less.

I really don't use it, so I am asking:

- Is there way to uninstall it?

- Do you recommend me to leave it installed? (In this case please write me what are the benefits of having it installed?)

- If not is there way to avoid installing (in this case I would uninstall whole Photoshop CS4 and do clean install)

- I seen some tutorials some time ago where you modify some deployment files in Photoshop installation data to make it viable to chose wich things do you want to install - can anyone show me what do I need to modify in order to make it possible to "untick" Adobe Bridge while installing Photoshop CS4?

Thanks!

Bridge is very useful for Viewing, Labeling, Rating, Sorting, Keywording/Metadata, Collections, Batch Proccesing, Batch ACR processing etc, etc.
Software is only any good if you know how and what to use it on. As with Photoshop CS4 there are many features that will never be used/understood by many people. It is a professional product that is used by many an amateur, so don't try to remove anything, try and learn what it does and use the power that this program has.
