Hello, i've recently started using photoshop and by recently i mean a few years but i've first started taking it seriousely now. I've been tweeking around with several tutorials and i've gotten a decent idea of the software. I recently got an idea about putting a dragon onto my garden wall and make a poster out of it. How would i go about doing that? As in making in look as if it painted directly on the wall, as if it was gaffity. I've tried playing around with some transparency however without succes, any suggestions? If you've got an idea of what i mean, and you've got a link to a tutorial, i'd be very very appreciative if you could private message me a link. Any help or ideas are very appreicated, thanks in advance.

The wall it self it very plain, made of red bricks.

The dragon is fantasy drawn, and is a "Ember dragon" Black with some embers around its egdes making it look as if it was on fire.

Here are few steps which you can follow and have a dragon poster on the wall.

1. First make the dragon poster - border, filters, colors, test - anything you want and make a complete front poster.
2. Open your garden image and based on the wall direction, transform the perspective of the image. Adjust the Skew as well to make it look it is on wall and following the contours of the wall.

3. Fiddle with the blending modes to make it look painted on the wall.
Alternatively, you can use 'Displace' option to make it much realistic poster on wall. :google:

hope this helps.. Cheers!!1

I've played alittle around with your suggestion, i must say i was impressed by the results, however. Its stil not quite as if it was drawn on the wall, the colours is to strong i believe and its not really like the dragon sinks into the wall. What can i do? I cannot show you the picture i'm using since its not my dragon.

Yep, Remote-medic, that was what i wanted. And i'm pleased with the result. I very much appreciate all your tips. :) Thanks.
