PSD Corrupted file?

I'm having a problem with a PSD file. I was working in After Effects using the PSD, when it stopped to recognize the layers of the file. So, when I openned the PSD file in Photoshop it was black! And with just one layer.

So, let's go to my quetion. Hope is the last to die.

It was a 5000x3000 px file, with a set of ten layers and 126 mb. Now it is a simple black layer file, but still with the same size. I did not flatten it, even because a lot of hidden layers was ?flattened? together (if i had pressed ctrl+shift+e). I even not ?saved as? the file (to deselect the ?layers option?). And i worked in After Effects without problems, until 6 pm, and the last change in Photoshop was at 1:30 pm. And now, my PSD file doesn't have any old layers.

If you create a new 5000x3000 black file (72dpi), the size is something like 1mb. If you flatten a project file (with a lot of layers), with a black layer at the top of the layers list, it should have the same 1 mb. And it did not happen.

The file still with the same size (126 mb), and i still can see the thumbnail of the file perfectly in the ?open windows? of photoshop.

Does anyone have an idea that what could have happened?

And if i really lost my layers, why the file is still with the same size? And why the thumbnail is not black as if nothing had happened.

tks!
