PS replaces all gradients

I made a poster design and saved it normal psd format like always. In bridge the thumbnail looks like it should but now every time I open the file, all the gradients I used are being replace by the fore- and background color that happens to be selected at the moment.

Why is this and more importantly can I set it back so the file opens with the gradients I used? I really hope someone can help me and I haven't lost a whole day of work

Make a folder and be sure to save all you gradients you have made in there.

I will but howcome it does it with this project and never done it with others???? And can I get the original back? Is there some kind of preference or option that I put on unknowingly?

I personally can't say for sure what you did unknowingly

But I will look around for you and see what I can come up with.
