I have photoshop 5.5 on my PC here kinda old I know but still does the job, I don't know what I did wrong but somehow all my top row menu stuff is just gone, if I open a new project and say I want to type within it instead of me seeing the type stuff at the top under the menu word options - it now opens this funky type window popup box, not used to this and not liking it at all but can't figure out how to set it back to the way it was previously or what I did to goof it up.
I did try restarting the computer, also tried resetting the tools, and restarting PS but I just can't figure out where the top menu stuff went, I do have the words file edit window etc but its the options like text options (centering a body of text, shaping the text, changing the font size / choice used to be along the top but now pops up in this funky window).
I am probably just doing something simple wrong but I sure can't figure it out.
