Problems with white line around image when resizing

I get a white transparent line around my images when i resize them. What can I do to get rid of this problem? See link below for image. I'm down sizing, I have tried flatten. This happeneds to all images that have been edited in PS.

If you`re using the marquee tool to make your selection, it may be feathered a pixel or two. Could be anti-aliasing, as well.
How are you selecting this area?
