I had a grand idea to shoot my sports leagues in RAW so then I could go through and batch color correct and crop the entire job is a snap. When shooting jpgs, you have to open each individual image and the save the jpg, which slows the workflow way down.
So I figured RAW would save me tons of time, and it will. However, I just went through every image in the entire folder - 249, and cropped all the images for a 5x7. Then I went through each individual images and just moved the crop box to where it needed to be. I was just about done with only a few images left, when Camera RAW wouldn't let me do anything. Everytime I clicked on something, it just went "donk". I really have learned to hate that sound. So, I ended up having to do an end task to close out and restart the program. And, I lost all of my adjustments because there were no xmp files associated with any of the images. That is the second time that has done this to me in about a month.
I know how to help myself in the future by not selecting the whole folder at once, and then just clicking "done" every so many images so I get the xmp files, but has anyone else had this trouble ? Is there a fix ?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
TB
