I have mistakenly hit a setting that doesn't allow me to change text color or choose a different color from the color picker. I am trying to select red for the text within the color picker and hit OK within the dialog box, and I start typing text and it remains grey.
I also tried using the color bucket to fill a new layer with red or any other color, and I can only change different shades of grey. To add to my fustration, I copied a layer from a different file which included a selection from an image and it copied it in greyd out.
This has to be a simple setting that I changed. Note that I am new to Photoshop and I haven't changed anything in the Color Manager or other settings. I have only worked with the dialog boxes presented when loading Photoshop.
Thanks in advance for the help.
