Hi there,
I would like to ask you a little help with the Vanishing Point, I'm not really understing what I'm doing wrong.
I'm using Photoshop CS2 on a Mac Tiger 10.4.11.

What I'm trying to do is put a label on a milk box.

I have my blank milk box in a psd file, and going to filter=> vanishing point I create the first grid for the first "panel" and i create after the perpendicular one.

Here is what I have:

Now I want to put my label on it, the label will not be only in one side of the pack but will be need to be in both side, not as separate image but as one image. Basically the image need to bend as it will look if it would be sticked on the cartoon.

When I import this JPG file, I select all the image with cmd+a, select a new layer, going to vanishing point window, press cmd+v and obtain my label there.
Here a picture:

Now when I try to move the pic into the grid (on the left face) the image doesn't bend, it stays "straight", so looks like is not sticked to the right side of the cartoon. See image:

And when i press ok, this is what I obtain on Photoshop.

It does look ok on the left side, but not on the right. I don't understand why the image does not bend following the carton's shape.
Am I doing something wrong or missing something that must be done?

Please let me know and help me to resolve this problem!

Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english

Thanks for the link but I saw that tutorial before posting here, but I could not make what I want to, that's why I opened the topic...!

Tried but still same problem, my label keep to stay flat on one side... I made a PSD file with my milk carton in a layer, I made the grid in Vanishing Point.
In another layer there is a little label.
You can download the PSD file and try to import the label in the grid, and let me know if you have my same problem of with your photoshop the label will stick on both side of the milk carton.
You'll find the original milk carton and label jpgs, just in case you want to make a test from the very beginning. Thanks all for your help.

I can't download your file, for some odd reason. If you post the psd here I'll be happy to look at it for you.

capsula, just upload it as a regular psd file. You don't need to zip it. Go to the reply window. You'll find a square icon with a tree img, click this, then click from computer, select your file, and upload your psd. Unless it's a monster file, it should upload fine.
