Hi Guys,

I dont know if there is anyone out there who has come across this, i have also emailed adobe (but we all know how long they can take to respond). I recently had a HDD problem and had to replace the drive and reinstall everything including the operating system and PS CS5 (which used to work perfectly), now when i load any image in photoshop i have the following problem; in front of every image is a series of lines (random greyscale colours), these lines disapear and then reapear with every zoom increase and eventually disapear when fairly well zoomed in.

(I have tried unistalling and re-installing)

Any solutions would be very much appreciated, I have a wedding collection to work through and whilst the system still works it is distracting. fingers crossed.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for taking the time to respond, I just tried an update on my video card which unfortuantly has stated that its up-to-date. I will try checking on the manufacturers webste just encase though!

Did you check and is it the newest driver?
I can't think of anything that would cause this other than a video issue.

Open Preferences | Performance, and uncheck Enable OpenGL Drawing if it's enabled.
That's all I can think of, good luck
