Hi. I have a Canon XT which has been modified to use as an infrared camera. This done by removing the IR filter in front of the sensor and substituting a plain glass one. If you set the camera to monochrome and save as a jpeg, an apparently true mono image will appear on the monitor.
However, when I then go and print the image, it comes out with a very red cast to it, even though I have desaturated the image in the CS3 RAW processor, or in Photoshop itself.
Has anyone had this experience? If so, how did you work around it.
Many thanks.
