Print grayed out in photoshop cs4

Hi I am very new to photoshop and this forum.

I am trying to print a photo at 10in x 13in for a frame i have. I created a transparency background at 10 x 13 then placed the image in at that size. The print is grayed out but i have been able to print at larger photos but they are always to frame.

most of the printers are not capable printing without of the border, so called bleed edge. some of ink jet printers may do it but it is ink consuming and moreover ink absorbent consuming. hope this answer your question.
