Pool water reflection.

I'm working on a background and it's supposed to look like that pattern you see at the bottom of a pool on a sunny day. Basically the shadows of the waves and ripples at the top.

Pretty much I'm looking to create a background similar to the background of the high school musical 2 movie poster. I'd post a link but I'm too "new". A Google image search of HSM2 should do the trick.

All I'm currently doing is doing a cloud filter, applying chrome and setting the hue/saturation to look blue then expanding, but it's not quite right.

Any tips or links to the proper tutorial?

The way you are doing it makes the ripples look metalic, so I understand why it's not quite right. Try looking here
