Plug-ins stopped working In CS4?

Hi, I have Photoshop CS4 on Windows 7 and on another computer with XP. I had a Plug-in called Topaz Adjust that I was using the other day on both PC's that all of a sudden wont work. When I upload an image and click On "Filters" in photoshop i can see the Topaz Adjust plugin but it is grayed out and I cant click on it? Does anybody know what the problem might be.
 
is it a trail version that has surpassed it's time limit .maybe?
 
No, i had the serial to it. I uninstalled it and tried to install it again and its the same thing. I can see the plugin when i click on filters but its grayed out and i cant click on it.
